Each year the cub scouts of Pack 170 collect food for those in need in the Upper Perkiomen Valley, joining the rest of the scouts across the Upper Perkiomen Valley and the Cradle of Liberty Council. We place door hangers across Red Hill on the Second Saturday in November and then collect food on the Third Saturday in November. All food is then sorted and brought to Open Link.
Our cub scouts cover most of Red Hill borough. To see if you are in the area that we cover please check the maps below. Reach out to Pete Wurst at pete@thewurstfam.com if you would like to arrange an additional food pickup.
We also challenge the staff and students of Marlborough elementary to collect food between the second and third Saturdays of November. The class with the most food collected wins a Pizza Party. This has led to great results and even more food collected for our community.
